According to the party, AAP leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital in New Delhi on Thursday after he felt dizzy in Tihar Jail.
Jain has been jailed since he was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate in May in connection with a money laundering probe.
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital has accepted Satyendar Jain as a patient. Due to dizziness, he died in the toilet of Tihar Jail. According to the Aam Aadmi Party, Satyendar Jain’s spinal cord had suffered severe damage earlier after falling in the toilet.
Jain was taken to Safdarjung Hospital on Monday as he was feeling unwell.
